Yes, I’m still messing around with clouds. Don’t worry, programming is getting done, too. But when I need a break, I fiddle with the clouds. They’re looking more interesting, I think.
There are a couple things I’d change, however, but it seems as though they’re impossible to do. I’d like to create a softer edge on my mask, which I am able to do, but not without sacrificing the overall opacity of the clouds or mountains themselves. Everything is too complex or big to use a dither effectively. It looks bad and leaves a lot streaks. This may be a general drawback, but at the very least, in Unreal, there doesn’t seem to be a good way to use opacity and masks.
So I’ll keep tweaking.
