Sometimes you just have to play around with graphics. So I made some new mountains to test them out. Still not a finished product, but moving in the right direction I think. The material turns transparent when nearing overlap with the camera. The clouds above mountains wiggle a bit, but my goal is to get them to rotate. I’ve had some good results with Vector Animations using 3dsMax, but I’m still figuring it out. I tried to upload a video of this the new mountains to YouTube, but the compression was terrible and everything looked blurry. When I have a little more time to mess with it, I’ll have to figure out the right settings to make it play nice.
